David joined UHY Calvert Smith in 1996 having originally trained with a local firm and worked in industry for a period. He became a member of the leading tax associations, the Chartered Institute of Tax and the Association of Taxation Technicians whilst at UHY Calvert Smith and now deals with a wide variety of mainly individual, sole trader and partnership tax clients including some high net worth individuals and related family trusts.
He specialises in Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax as well assisting Personal Representatives obtain the Grant of Probate.
His interests outside work include outdoor activities including cycling and hill walking and he also enjoys foreign travel.
