Rob joined UHY Calvert Smith in 2001, having previously worked for a Big Four firm following five years at the Inland Revenue. He has worked in taxation since Norman "Green Shoots of Recovery" Lamont was Chancellor of the Exchequer.
He specialises in most areas of direct taxation, including HMRC investigations and corporation tax. Additionally, he contributes to the work of the Chartered Institute of Taxation's Technical Committee, and writes on tax subjects for the profession.
His interests away from the office include Hull City, five-a-side football, and learning the cello.
